History of Rampart

Dwarven heavy infantry are renowned for holding the line through thick and thin, standing like a cliff against the onslaught of the waves. Their armor takes the fiercest blows without flinching, their shields form an impassable wall, and when their enemies retreat, exhausted, the line advances in perfect formation to the sound of drums and horns. When their plagues descend, they paralyze and weaken the enemy. Some are even equipped with braziers of alchemical fire, allowing a precise blow to ignite its target. The Bulwark's main weapon, however, is its discipline and defensive tactics that not only push the enemy back, but also keep them at a disadvantage for as long as possible.
